How to Apply
Home Instead Senior Care Foundation launched GIVE65 – our signature program – in 2016. Since then, GIVE65 has raised and awarded more than $1 million to help seniors across the United States. If your nonprofit organization provides services and programs to seniors, we invite you to join the GIVE65 movement. Through our partnership with nonprofits, we will raise funds, increase awareness and create hope for seniors in communities throughout the U.S.
GIVE65 is a crowd-fundraising platform where technology and generosity combine to inspire greater charitable giving in support of seniors and those who care for them. You can learn more by visiting GIVE65.org!
There are two ways your nonprofit organization can participate on the GIVE65 platform.
- Participate in the annual GIVE65 Event
Apply to participate in Home Instead Senior Care Foundation’s annual 65-hour GIVE65 Event. If selected to participate, your nonprofit will harness the power of generosity in your local community while competing for matching grants and financial rewards. All participating organizations are eligible for both matching funds and financial rewards.

- Participate in the GIVE65 #GivingTuesday celebration
#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. Held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this international day of giving inspires people to give back in impactful ways. If selected to participate, your organization will be eligible for matching dollars.
The Value of GIVE65 Participation
Home Instead Senior Care Foundation promotes the GIVE65 site through a comprehensive social media and e-communications strategy. Our marketing efforts help increase awareness for GIVE65 crowd-fundraising projects among an entirely new audience of potential donors. Participation on GIVE65 is easy and unique! Resources and support will help make GIVE65 crowd-fundraising efforts successful. And, the annual GIVE65 Event presents opportunities for matching grants to encourage donations and financial prize rewards to recognize outstanding crowd-fundraising efforts.
The Social Benefit of GIVE65
As a nonprofit, you know how difficult it is to raise funds for social service programs that help seniors in need. With GIVE65, we believe that we can inspire greater charitable giving in support of seniors when we all come together united around this common purpose. By working together, we can increase social awareness and the capacity of nonprofit organizations to care for the growing senior population.
To participate in any crowd-fundraising campaign featured on the GIVE65 site, selected nonprofit organizations must:
- Serve seniors (age 65+)
- Be a 501 (c) (3) public charity in the U.S. or a registered charity in Canada
- For Canadian organizations, complete an Affidavit Packet verifying public charity status
- Provide a valid tax identification number (U.S. registered charities) or charity registration number (Canadian registered charities)
- Operate and serve seniors within the U.S. or Canada
- Be established for a minimum of one year
- Complete the official application for participation
Ineligible organizations include:
- Community Foundations
- Private Foundations
- 501 (c)(3) (a) (3) Supporting Organizations
Previous Recipients of Grant Awards from Home Instead Senior Care Foundation
All selected nonprofit organizations meeting the above criteria are eligible for participation on the GIVE65 site as participants in the GIVE65 Event or a featured GIVE65 Project.
